Boca Raton Chiropractor Dr. Salvatore Romano

“Back in my high school football days I experienced a collision that twisted my body.”

I felt immediate lower back pain and was taken off the field. I could not stand up straight for at least a week and all the medication and physical therapy was not working. Then my sister-in-law insisted I see a local chiropractor in town, so I did. Within a few days I was pain free and able to continue with my regular physical activities. I thought to myself that I could do this and it fit in with my hands-on type approach to life. Ever since that first adjustment I knew my life was going to change in a BIG way.

A Chiropractic Education

I received my Pre-Med degree from the State University of New York @Stony Brook and received my B.S. degree in Biology.  I founded the first chiropractic society at Stony Brook University and was captain of the NCAA Stony Brook football team.

After completing my study there, I was accepted at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. During my four years at Palmer, courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the Palmer College Public Clinic. I did an extern in Deerfield Beach, Florida in 1990 and graduated President of my class in 1991. I went right into a busy practice in NYC for about two years until I came to settle in Boca Raton in 1992. I have been practicing family chiropractic in this office for over 25 years.

On a Personal Note…

I am married 25 years with three very active boys.   I have been volunteering with Boca Flag Football and Cheerleading league for over 20 years with about 300 children a year that participate.
